With the deadline fast approaching, now is the perfect time to gather all your records and get copies of any missing documents. Preparing for your appointment with a professional tax preparer is a breeze when you have all your information ready. This ensures you'll file a complete and accurate tax return with ease. We're excited to help make this process smooth and stress-free for you. Let's work together to ensure your tax return is done right and you can enjoy your tax refund!

Here’s the information taxpayers may need. Not all information applies to all taxpayers.
Social Security numbers of everyone listed on the tax return.
Bank account and routing numbers for direct deposit or information to make a tax payment.
Forms W-2 from employer(s).
Forms 1099 from banks, issuing agencies, and other payers, including unemployment compensation, dividends, and distributions from a pension, annuity, or retirement plan.
Form 1099-K, 1099-MISC, W-2, or other income statement for workers in the gig economy.
Form 1099-INT for interest received.
Other income documents and records of virtual currency transactions.
Form 1095-A, Health Insurance Marketplace Statement.
Information to support claiming other credits or deductions, such as receipts for child or dependent care, college expenses, or donations.
Missing documents: What taxpayers should do Don't worry if you're missing important tax documents! You can take a few easy steps to get everything sorted out. Firstly, we recommend contacting your employer, payer, or issuing agency to request the missing W-2 or Form 1099. If you received an incorrect form, let them know so they can provide you with the correct one. If you're still having trouble, don't panic! You can complete Form 4852, a substitute for the W-2, or a Form 1099-R, for distributions from pensions, annuities, and more. If you still haven't received the necessary forms in time for filing, you can estimate your wages and payments and report this information using Form 4852.
We hope this information eases your concerns and helps you prepare for tax season with confidence!
